The Bizztec Online concept was conceived 25 years ago, when computers and the Internet were only the dream of a handful of visionaries.

Bizztec's dream in the early days was to automate accounting and internal control systems by integrating any number of management applications into a unified real-time management system, which could be accessed on demand. The dream was to consolidate all data from any number of remote locations into one central database which could be accessed by authorized personnel from anywhere in the world.  

Although we could not have conceived in those early days that the Internet would eventually help us achieve this dream, we set out enthusiastically automating our manual systems as new technology evolved.

We finally achieved our goals! Today we have a fully automated, full function accounting platform around which management systems are seamlessly integrated and managed remotely.   

GLENN REINECKE - president and founder

Glenn is an accountant who has been involved in business and management consulting for the past 25 years. He has been the driving force behind the development of the Bizztec business solution.

When Glenn completed his Accounting Articles of Clerkship he joined a progressive chain of concept restaurants as CFO. Shortly after he took over the CEO reigns and eventually took the Company public. It was one of the biggest restaurant chain IPO’s in South African history in the 1980’s.

The food and entertainment industry has always held his fascination and after he sold his stake in the aforementioned Company he started a consulting firm for the hospitality industry. Eventually the systems and controls, which were the fundamental success of the previous Company, were computerized as technology developed. That was the forerunner to the Bizztec system.

Glenn and Lance got together several years ago and proceeded to develop the software management system from scratch, exclusively for use on the Internet.  

LANCE LAN - director, software development

Lance and his team of developers have been responsible for the technical design and development of the Bizztec Online accounting information system. Lance has extensive experience and knowledge of Windows applications, web-based development and relational database application design. He vigorously keeps informed of new technology as it evolves.  

As a development team leader Lance designed and developed the Proximal Smart Card Electronic Fare Payment System, which was awarded China's National New Product Prize in 1997. 

Lance's Bachelor Degrees in both Computer Science and Applied Physics combined with his focused and systematic approach to projects has contributed significantly to the success of Bizztec Online.   

PATRICK FARRELL - vice president, business development

Patrick has been advisor and sounding board to Glenn, Lance and their team over the years. He brings many years of business experience and sound business principles to the table. Patrick's ability to analyze situations in a systematic and logical manner has been invaluable to the development of Bizztec 

Patrick has a Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. He has been a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute since 1989 and has lectured in finance at Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario. 

To complement Patrick's impressive academic achievements he has extensive business management experience having owned his own software development business and having consulted for major corporations and governmental entities, such as the Canadian Government and The World Bank, over the past 27 years.
